DIER was a noise (and occasionally non-noise) remixing/reconstructing/retardating side-project of Praying Gods which basically lasted for only a few months between 2000 and 2001 (with a very brief reprise in 2005). In this short span, however, Dier was granted license (and even sometimes requested) to botch, blaspheme, deface, defile, and otherwise ruinate sounds by the likes of: Âmes Sanglantes, Black Mayonnaise, Coph Nia, D-503, Foutredieu!!!, Jason Campbell, Lysogeny, musique:motpol, Noiseman433, Origami Subtropika, Stimbox, Yusuke Tabira, and Zanoisect - among many others. "A Dollop Of (Dier)" collects all the least worst of these terrible tamperings into one easy to digest MP3 release.
